Fashion Photography

Fashion Photography is an important part on how society views body image, modern day fashion photographers tend to air brush and alter the images so that it can fit the ideal body image, the way every one wants to look.  The changed image is very different to what the original was.  Below is an example featuring Beyonce.

the airbrushing and altering can give shape to the body, get rid of blemishes and wrinkles and brighten the image to add colour to the skin.  I believe this should not be allowed as it gives a false sense of what is right for the body image, giving women and some men a false ideal.  It changes how photographers use the camera, and if they really are a good photographer could find a perfect angle to make the woman/man look perfect.

Treatment for photo project - in motion...

Treatment Photography

1. Type of production and brief details on Subject/Concept:

the project i am working on is 'in motion' where i am attempting to capture images while they are in motion, specifically people and moveable objects while the environment remains still.

2. Facilities: What facilities do you need for this project list all including software and hardware for the whole project

the facilities i will be using is the fujifilm s1600, any other software or hardware i will not need, except a computer to crop images.

3. Finance: If you produced this project outside of the college you need to show how much would it cost to hire the equipment that you intend to use.

the cost of the trip would cover the train ride to london. which for a return ticket off peak costs £18.30, and the camera rental for one day can cost £49.17 excluding VAT.

4. Contributors: Who do you need to help this for you project? This includes talent and crew.

the project i can cover by myself, i won't need any crew or talent as it takes place in the streets of london as it covers motion.

5. Presentation: How will you present the pictures? Will you include a soundtrack, think about copy write issues etc.

i would present the show as a slide show, with a sort of slow music over the top. and at the end i would post the name and song of the band to show that i have borrowed it.
